Remote meetings and patient assessments during COVID-19 During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are further strengthening our digital presence to be able to continue offering high customer service standards and maintain the ability to share our expert moving and handling knowledge during this uncertain time. We will available to support you and give advice over the web via email, Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp or a phone call. Handicare has a comprehensive library of instructional ‘how to’ videos and other media available to help support you, people in care and those who care for them. Many videos are already on our YouTube channel, and are available under the respective equipment listed on our website. During instances where you may experience a moving and handling challenge and we are unable to conduct a face to face assessment due to the patient self-isolating, we will create an instructional video – offering you a bespoke moving and handling solution for your client’s specific situation. Alternatively, we can arrange an online assessment via Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime or a phone call. 97.6% of our deliveries were on time in February and we are continuously working with our suppliers to maintain this high level of service and avoid any disruption to deliveries under current circumstances. Subsequently, if there are any changes to the current supply and delivery of Handicare equipment, Handicare will promptly provide updated information. As always, you are welcome to contact our customer service or the responsible sales representative for any advice or information you require.
